NEXT bikes are good, basic bicycles for light to moderate riders, but probably won't last for more than two or three years. Expect to make some simple adjustments and repairs over the lifetime of the bicycle, and consider buying in-store to ensure you get the assembly and the color you want.
nextbikes are climate-friendly means of transport and mobile advertising media at the same time. As a whole fleet they are more than bicycle advertising – they move professionally in outdoor advertising as ambient media respectively transit advertising.
| |This is the quickest, cleanest and most fun way to explore a modern city! Nextbike has bikes which are all set for city cruising in Auckland, Christchurch and Cambridge, with comfortable seats, and locks so you can easily stop and explore.
The next bikes are solidly constructed, but you won't find any stunning technology. The frames are steel, which is sturdy but heavy, and the company uses it's own components. The adult bikes are dual-suspension with V-brakes and 18 speeds, while the children's bikes are all single-speed with caliper brakes. The simplicity of the drive means that you can do much of the maintenance yourself, and the owner's manual includes detailed maintenance instructions. You won't win the Tour de France on Next bikes, but the whole family can ride together without a huge investment.
