  • Have old growth trees around perimeter of lawn. They were sapping the nutrients from the lawn. I used the fertilizer spikes for the trees and it helped the trees as well as my lawn. I added the tree spikes to my Scotts lawn plan and it made a huge difference. Lawn grew better inside drip line of trees and trees sprouted new leaves like they were on steroids.

  • This product of fertilizer spikes I have found to be the best and easiest way to feed my shrubs and trees. I can see the difference in my yard after using the spikes. I highly recommend these spikes I purchased both the citrus and regular tree and shrub spikes. Both have shown excellent and consistent results. Thank you for such a great product.

Our Evergreen trees (redwoods) have been planted for almost 3 years, just surviving. This year we used the Evergreen Fertilizer Spikes as the Miracle grow instructed and wow, what a difference. My trees are now full and green. Needless to say, we will continue to use the spikes. I wish I had taken before pictures.

I'm a compost tea guy, but this year I was short on time so I though what the heck. I was scared at first because I had heard of burning and ineffectiveness. I wanted it to work-needed it to work- so I read some helpful blogs, and read the directions. This stuff works and I say this as a well experienced gardener who was pessimistic about the prospects of fertilizer spikes. A few pointers: If plant is planted below the grade kind of like a bowl and the soil actually acts like a bowl holding the water in, spike outside the bowl because ammonia water will burn the root ball. If above grade and the water sheds off go closer in. Never go next to the base. Know your plant. Some plants are capable of fixing Nitrogen so spikes don't hurt. Some don't fix Nitrogen and need an acid present. Anyway good luck.
